H. JOHN MAJDIC
Landscape Architect
John brings several years of experience as a Landscape Architect and holds a BSLA from Temple University. Growing up in the woods of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, John developed an early appreciation for nature, which naturally led him to landscape architecture—a field where his interests in drawing, building, and the outdoors converge.John specializes in ecologically-focused designs that thoughtfully balance the needs of the client with those of the landscape. He finds the most rewarding aspect of his work to be seeing a project take shape on the ground—especially when it enhances a site’s ecological health and fosters the return of pollinators, wildlife, and native plant communities.
Outside of work, John enjoys brewing his own beer, fishing, and painting. He has lived in the Philadelphia area since 2016 and is passionate about helping people form meaningful connections with the spaces around their homes.

REN EDMISTON
Landscape Designer
Ren joins the team as a recent graduate of Temple University with a degree in Architectural design. Having grown up traveling and visiting many national parks and museums, Ren was inspired at a young age by art and nature. She was drawn to architecture because it not only combined her skills in drawing and love of art, but also her appreciation for organization and critical thinking.
Ren’s design is influenced by buildings, people and beauty. Her senior year, Ren worked on a capstone project to redesign South Philadelphia 200 years from now. While there were many aspects to the project, some of those included re-naturalization of the land, vertical farming and biodiversity that inspired her to learn more about plants species and adaptability. Ren enjoys helping people understand all their choices when it comes to design and is excited to start her career in landscape architecture.
While not at work, Ren can be found on the water. She was a Division 1 Rower for Temple, and still enjoys rowing, traveling, reading and art.
